Wow – We collected over 2300 lbs of Electronics

By |June 10th, 2013|

A big THANKS! to everyone who showed up to recycle their electronics, including Amos from the Town of Red Cliff who brought by four large TVs.

Thanks also to Jerry and Maury with the Eagle Valley Community Fund – they diverted functional computers and displays for donation to Minturn Rummage Sale.

Stephen White from Resort Data Processing recycled and donated a large number of older computers, displays, printers and battery backups.

Please note that we collect your old electronics for recycling all year – bring your items to our office any time during business hours.  We store them until our locker is full, and then Joe and Dan from Electronics Recycling International will drive up from Denver with their bright green truck.

Recycle IT Event – Friday June 7, 2013

By |May 25th, 2013|

There is always something new coming down the pipeline – new ways to communicate; faster better computing and display hardware.  All of these innovations are fantastic, but we have to think about the lifecycle of the IT products we consume – and throwing them into the trash is not a responsible option.

All Mountain Technologies is hosting our annual Recycle IT event on Friday, June 7.  Stop by our Edwards office between 11am and 3pm to drop off your old and unwanted electronics.  Drive to the west end of Riverwalk near Zino Restaurante, and look for the truck from Electronic Recyclers International next to our blue tent.

Bring by that old VCR, flip phone, bulky CRT display and slow Windows XP computer – we will make sure that your electronics are securely salvaged and recycled.

We are your IT partner for the Eagle Valley and look forward to seeing you on June 7!

2012 Recycle IT

By |May 18th, 2012|

In May 2012, All Mountain Technologies partnered with Electronic Recyclers International to host Recycle IT.  From 10-2, a portion of the Riverwalk parking lot just outside our office was blocked off to collect old and unwanted electronic equipment.  We had participants bring material from as far away as Glenwood Springs and Copper Mountain.  Collectively, we recycled nearly 2 tons of electronic equipment during those 4 hours.  What an achievement!  Thanks to everyone who participated to make this event such a success.  As advertised, anyone who brought recycling to the event was given the opportunity to sign up for a free Kindle Fire.  Congratulations to Theresa, the lucky winner!  We have posted some photos (below) from the event and again, thanks to everyone who made it such a success.
