Meet Nathan Parrish, Systems Administrator
After 15 years working as an electrician and owning his own business, Nathan switched careers to IT. With a natural love for science, technology was the perfect fit for him.
Nathan has been with All Mountain Technologies since 2010. In that time, he has risen from an entry-level technician to the knowledgeable and experienced Systems Administrator that he is today.
He is a local boy, who grew up in Wheat Ridge, Colorado outside of Denver. He was that type of kid that took stuff apart and tinkered with it. He took his first computer class the summer after first grade on an Apple IIe. Since then, he has gained extensive experience working on a evolving IT networks for a variety of industries including non-profit, health care, hospitality, property management and more
Nathan lives in Red Cliff, Colorado with his wife Kristi, their son, Vaughn, and the family dog, a Schnauzer named Max. He enjoys skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, going to concerts, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Nathan has found freedom and growth at AMT. “No two days are the same”, he said, “it keeps me on my toes”.
As a Systems Administrator, Nathan oversees and maintains many different types of systems for several clients. He manages and maintains these business systems to ensure their overall health and functionality. He is constantly on the go, visiting clients, and keeping them up to date—time management is essential.
When asked what he loves about IT, Nathan’s response is:
“Technology is constantly changing and evolving. There’s always more to learn. People don’t realize the level of backend work it takes to operate technology. Our goal is to upgrade systems, teach people how to use them, and make their work easier, more efficient, and profitable”.
