The All Mountain Technologies team is excited to announce that we have joined the STEM Community Partnership.

As a local IT company and proud member of the Eagle County community, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education and opportunities are very near and dear to our hearts.

STEM education is the intentional integration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to create a student-centered learning environment where students can investigate and engineer solutions to real-world problems.

Choosing to actively support this critical field was easy— it just makes sense to help the mission as best we can.

STEM Support Comes From The Top Down

Pam Elliott, President of All Mountain Technologies is excited to work alongside others in the community to help create and support STEM pathways for the youth in Eagle County. She knows it will only serve to better our community, our economy, and our country as a whole.

“It’s so important that STEM opportunities can be accessed by local kids because this can directly lead to educational and career opportunities right here in the Vail Valley,” says Pam.

In light of this new partnership, Pam attended the STEM Career Connections Community Partnership Meeting on May 27th. At this meeting, attendees built a Community Asset Map, identifying where STEM is happening in Eagle County in order to better support, augment, and develop these activities and opportunities.

The meeting was attended by many other strong, local community-minded organizations, including:

  • Walking Mountain Science Center
  • Vail Ski and Snowboard Academy
  • Colorado Mountain College
  • Eagle County Schools
  • Eagle Valley Land Trust
  • Vail Valley Foundation’s YouthPower365
  • and more!

The group discussed how students view STEM currently and brainstormed the next steps needed to push the program forward and strengthen it.

They also discussed different STEM projects and experiments that local students are currently working on. The student’s challenges and success were highlighted and it was noted that kids could also see how different industries could benefit from these STEM projects.

All of these experiments are a great way to learn in a fun, engaged, hands-on kind of way.

STEM Is A Foundational Part Of Our Future

The AMT team understands that we are a product of our community.

The success of our business is due, in part, to the prosperity that the local tech market is currently enjoying, which is why we take opportunities like this to pay it forward and support organizations that have helped better the IT community at large.

ALL Mountain Technologies is proud to be a STEM partner strengthening and promoting STEM programs in Eagle County.
